Report Claims Next-Gen iPhone to Be Put Into Production This September

Here’s an excerpt:

Supporting out comments over the last month, conversations with yet another key component supplier indicates that production for iPhone-5 will begin in September. This is consistent with Avian findings in the supply chain in recent months and we believe the consensus view is moving towards this scenario.

This report strikes me a nothing more than link-bait from BusinessInsider. First off, little to no new information is given. Secondly, the information comes from an analyst, who usually have poor insight when it comes to Apple. The analyst’s source is “key component suppliers”, which doesn’t sound fishy at all. Lastly, this report tacks on the new “low-cost” iPhone rumor for good measure.

I’m not discounting anything here, it’s simply more of the same that we’ve already heard.
