More Photos of Purported Next-Generation iPod Nano Surface

Very similar to the photos we’ve seen before, Apple.pro has posted a new photo claiming to be the back casing for the next-generation iPod Nano. Just as with the previous image, this photo shows a hole intended for a camera lens. The biggest difference between this photo and the previously reported one, is that the case no longer has a clip.

The report also notes that the camera that will be equipped on this device, will have a 1.3 megapixel sensor. If this holds true, that’s better quality than the cameras on the current iPod touch, or the iPad 2.

If this is true, Apple doesn’t seam to know which way to take the iPod Nano. One the one hand, they’re currently marketing the device as a wearable accessory, but in doing that they lost the camera from the previous generation device. Now they’re going to remove the clip to put the camera back?
