Apple Corporate Job Posting Suggests Sprint iPhone on Its Way

a3ee7_sprint_logo.jpgApple has posted a job listing on their corporate site, which looks to hire a “Carrier Engineer” to work in the Overland Park(Kansas City suburb), Kansas area. Just as the name implies, whoever fills the position will be working with carriers to iron out technical issues between products.

The listing was posted way back on Aril 2nd, and as stated before, is for the Kansas City, Kansas area. The thing is, Apple doesn’t have semblance of a corporate presence in Kansas City. But, Sprint sure does.

Sprint of course is one of the four major cellular networks in the U.S., and with T-Mobile being ingested by AT&T, it stands to be the only carrier in the States without the iPhone. That appears to be changing.

Besides, just as recently as a few days ago, we heard a report from an “analyst” that Apple will be bringing the iPhone to both Sprint and T-Mobile this fall alongside a minor hardware refresh.
