EMI Reportedly On Board for Apple’s Cloud-Based Music Service

CloudComputing-150x150.jpgCNet is reporting that Apple has signed on EMI, alongside the previously reported Warner Music Group agreement, helping to clear the way for Apple’s rumored cloud-based music streaming service. The report also notes that Apple is still ironing out agreements with Sony Music Group and Universal Music Group, which could be wrapped up as soon as next week.

Of course, Amazon and Google have recently launched their own cloud-based music services, and both companies forged ahead without penning agreements with the four major music labels. Apple on the other hand, has been reportedly reaching agreements with the music labels, in order to offer a more flexible service and features.
