Apple Now Internally Testing Mac OS X Lion

Mac-OS-X-10.7-Lion_feature.pngTUAW is reporting that Mac OS X Lion, Apple’s next major release of Mac OS X, is now in internal Apple testing. According to the report this is moving towards a “near to real world debut”.

The report goes on to suggest that we may see the release of Lion as early as next week at Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference. However, if history is any indication, this would not be likely. Normally Apple will release one final Gold Master release to the developers at WWDC, and a final public release follows relatively soon thereafter.
