Best Buy Matching Apple’s Back to School $100 Gift Card Offer

After Apple finally launched their Back to School promotion last week, wherein college students or faculty purchase a Mac they receive a $100 iTunes gift card. This was a departure from the traditional iPod giveaway of years past. Regardless, Best Buy will be matching Apple’s offer, and will be handing out $100 store gift cards for the same qualifying customers. Apple Issues Yet Another Seed of OS X 10.6.8

Apple has seeded yet another build (Build 10K540) of Mac OS X 10.6.8 to developers. This seed came less than 4 days after the previous build. With Apple speeding up release cycles, a public release is likely just around the corner.
