Apple announced yet another huge milestone for the App Store today – that 15 billion apps have been downloaded. In just three years, 15 billion. Even after seeing it a few times this morning, I still find it a staggering number.
Here’s a few other notable numbers found in Apple’s press release on this milestone:
– Apps have been downloaded by more than 200 million users of iOS devices
– The App Store now offers more than 425,000 apps and over 100,000 native iPad apps
– Apple had paid more than $2.5 billion to app developers so far.
Amazing numbers, and they’re only going to keep getting bigger and crazier.
