Apple TV Bluetooth Capabilities to Be Unlocked with iOS 5?

So, it appears that Bluetooth is coming to Apple TV with the iOS 5 update. The Apple TV does currently ship with a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth chip installed, so all that it takes is software activation on Apple’s part.

This move would open the door for Bluetooth pairing of keyboards or even a Bluetooth remote which means the Apple TV unit could be hidden out of sight, allowing the user could still have complete control. This would also open up the ability for hypothetical third-party apps to access Bluetooth peripherals, or even allow for the connection of Bluetooth controllers for video games.

This is just my guess, but Apple appears to be making in roads to opening up the Apple TV for development. Bluetooth support could easily turn the Apple TV into a hub of your living room.
