Apple Now Leasing More Office Space in Cupertino Due to Company Growth

20110721_115324_0721apple_200.jpgApple a few months back, introduced plans to build a massive new “spaceship” campus a few miles away from their current campus, which reportedly won’t be ready for use by 2015. A report has surfaced, claiming that Apple, while their new facility is being constructed, has leased out a massive nine-building office campus in Cupertino, which can hold a staff of 1,300 employees.

The Real estate folks in Cupertino and Mountain View areas are further constrained in regards to office space, seeing as Cupertino is running out of locations that can support office space. Furthermore, other big tech companies such as Google, and Facebook have grabbed significant amounts of land in the area as well.

Anyway, the only reason I felt this was worth reporting on, is the fact that Apple is growing so fast, that can’t wait for their new office building to be constructed. They needed somewhere to stash 1,300 employees, and that’s remarkable considering that the company ran out their current HQ for years, without any trouble.
