With the iPhone 4S Apple added Sprint to the list U.S. carriers who support the iPhone. Today, it’s been announced by C Spire Wireless, a regional carrier, will now also be carrying the new iPhone 4S.

C Spire Wireless, formerly known as Cellular South, is the U.S.’s largest private telecommunications provider. I live in the Memphis area, and I have some friends who are going to be VERY happy about this. Cell South was very aggressive in pushing Android and poking fun at the iPhone in lots of commercials in this region. I find it a little humorous to see them change their tune so quickly.

As far as the carrier goes, the people I know that use it, swear by it. C Spire has very strong coverage of their own, and has roaming agreements for places that they don’t.
