Earlier today we noted that 9to5Mac was reporting that revised MacBook Pro models were due next week. Now AppleInsider is pitching in and claims that the new machines will not ship next week, but rather early next month. So there’s that.
In other news, the Mac Pro, which hasn’t seen an update since July 2010, likely won’t see an update until early next year due to Intel’s delay of new chips that would be suitable for the line of computers.
Of course, there have been several false starts on the road to an Mac Pro update, with several reports over the summer claiming a launch was imminent. That of course, didn’t pan out, and prospective professional customers have been waiting ever since.
