Right after the iPhone was introduced on Sprint’s network widespread complaints began to surface regarding the network’s data speeds. Specifically, the crushingly slow speeds being pulled down. Sprint originally denied this, but a new report from TheNextWeb claims both Sprint and Apple are looking into the problem.
The report notes that Sprint has confirmed there is a nationwide issue. However, there are no details on when a resolution might be seen, or what is causing the problem for that matter.
Despite these network problems, Sprint claimed shortly after launch that the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S broke the carrier’s one-day sales record for a specific “device family”. So, make of this what you will.
