iOS 5.01 Released, Fixes iPhone 4S Battery Issues

Apple has released iOS 5.01, a 55 megabyte over-the-air update that, amongst other things, promises to fix the battery issues that are plaguing some iPhone 4S owners.

Update installed 4 hours ago. Battery was at 80% capacity then, it’s now at 45%. Stiil going down a lot quicker that the iPhone4 ever did. 4S running same applications. Will try turning off location services to see if that helps. Didn’t have to with the 4 and IOS 4.
