Just yesterday Apple released a third Beta of iOS 5.1 to developers. Today, Apple has followed suit with a new build (Build 11D42) of OS X 10.7.3. Apple is still asking developers to test in the following areas: Address Book, iCal, Mail, Spotlight, and Safari.
That said, there are mumblings that this build may very well be the golden master version of 10.7.3 to make it in the hands of the general public. Also, the delta version of 10.7.3 is 989.75MB in size, while the complete package is 1.26GB in size. So there’s that.
Remember, 10.7.3 is the version in which evidence was found of a HiDPI mode that would support ultra high-resolution “Retina” displays in Apple’s differing Mac lines and there were drivers for graphics cards that are prime candidates for the future Mac Pro components.
So, when 10.7.3 is released, new hardware will likely either accompany, or soon follow the release, and it sounds like the release could be imminent.
