Target to Bring Dedicated Apple Shops to 25 of their Retail Stores

target_logo-150x199.jpgReuters is reporting that Target has confirmed that they are preparing to launch “store-within-a-store” Apple kiosks in 25 of their retail stores throughout the United States. This is all apart of Target’s broader “the Shops at Target” initiative which will focus on certain products and brands.

This announcement doesn’t come as a total surprise as rumors of this development began to circulate last week. Reportedly this Apple is teaming up with Target to set up these shops in population bases that are not large enough for Apple to set up a proper store.

Both companies have remained quiet regarding the scope of these shops. The general consensus is that these kiosks will be a more scaled down version of the “Apple Shops” that are currently deployed at Best Buy locations.
