Command + Tab on the iPad with VoiceOver

I tried a few of the shortcuts detailed in this decadentwaste post the other day, and it really does bring the actual shortcut, Command + Tab, to the iPad. However, activating VoiceOver just to accomplish it, is simply too much of a workaround for me. Pressing on items requires three taps (one to select, two to actually ‘tap’), and you’ll have to manually silence the voiceover each time, or hear your iPad speak the name of every single thing you touch.

This may not be what I’ve wanted in terms of iPad keyboard shortcuts, but I’m mightily impressed at how well thought out it is for the users who really need it.
