Facebook for iPhone Should Get Faster This Summer

Using Facebook for iPhone and iPad is about teaching yourself the virtues of patience. It’s about learning that you don’t have to know what your friends are up to at any given moment. But these are, of course, unintentional lessons that Facebook isn’t really trying to teach us – they’re just results of the iOS apps being really bloody slow (and buggy).

However, the New York Times reports that Facebook should be getting a lot faster (at least on the iPhone) with an update later this summer. According to two anonymous Facebook engineers, the next major version of the app will focus less on crazy new features and more on speed.

Let’s hope they decided to fix notifications, as well.

I’d like to see Facebook integrated into the next iOS like Twitter was. Been so much easier posting pictures. Apple need to send a survey and ask the customers their opinions. Nonetheless I’m looking forward to a faster Facebook.

I’d rather have a colonoscopy than use Facebook!

I would like to see Facebook add ‘Share’ to their app. It’s annoying not having the same features in the app that’s on their website.

Facebook majorly needs to speed up its App in the Ipad, It freezes so often it is a waste of time too have. Big let down for such a popular app!
