This afternoon I received my highly anticipated Touchtype iPad case. The Touchtype case is the first case that I have found that accommodates a full size Apple Bluetooth Keyboard–my keyboard of choice for typing any post that I have to spend more than 10 minutes on. The real significance of this purchase for me was that it was my first endeavor into backing a KickStarter project. I’ll have more to say about the Touchtype case in a week or so, but my first impressions are very favorable.
I had no idea what to expect with the whole process at the outset. However, through every step of the process it was clear that the Touchtype creator, Salman Sajid was a man of integrity and professionalism. He delivered his iPad case ahead of schedule and from what I’ve seen so far today, I feel very satisfied with my purchase.
The look and feel of the case is clean and lightweight but sturdy. The interior of the Touchtype is covered in a suede like material, which is a nice touch, and definitely a material choice that in no way will scratch or compromise the front or the back of your iPad.
The Touchtype will accommodate any size iPad, too, due to the elastic straps that hold the corners in place when installed. It’s very convenient not to have to worry about which iPad will work with what case when you are making your purchase. It’s also super convenient if you just want to buy the Touchtype for that friend or loved one who might have an older iPad, too.
To be continued…
