The recently updated PowerSkin Battery Case debuted and is now surrounding my iPhone 4S. Unlike a Mophie two-piece case (my experience from 3GS days), the PowerSkin has soft rubber sides and top portion that doesn’t require dis-assembly: just bend the top back, slide the iPhone in to engage the connector, and bend the rubber cover back over the top of your iPhone. Voila!
My initial impressions are good, and expect a more detailed review to follow soon as I more closely monitor the battery consumption. Until that time, take a quick look at the newly-debuted black or titanium backs from PowerSkin.
