I bet this shocking news blew you right off your feet. 🙂 Apple has issued invites to those lucky members of their press A Team for a special event next Wednesday, September 12th.
As in, the date is exactly as has been rumored by Gruber Jim Dalrymple for ages now. The invitation image shown above is from Dalrymple’s post on this at The Loop today:
Apple on Tuesday sent out invites for an upcoming event happening in San Francisco on September 12, 2012. The invitation I received says the event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 10:00 am.
The comments thread over at The Loop is already full of funny guesswork on the implications of the invitation design. I’m going with it’s to be called the iPhone 12 and to be released 5 seconds after next Wednesday’s event ends.
