iOS 6 has been released by Apple and is available to download and install now. This is of course the latest annual major update to the operating system used on iPhones, iPads, and the iPod Touch line.
iOS 6 is available to update over the air directly on your iDevice (if you’re currently running iOS 5) or when connected to a PC and iTunes. It will run on the following iOS devices:
- iPhone 3GS
- iPhone 4
- iPhone 4S
- iPod touch 4th generation
- iPad 2
- The new iPad (third generation)
