My iPhone Gelaskin – 10 Months Later

The Gelaskin that I bought last December is proving to be quite a good investment. I’ve re-applied it four or five times now, but what’s even more ridiculous is that I actually kept it stuck to my doorknob (like a weird sticker) for months in between uses. That’s months of dust and physical abuse while not staying fully attached to a surface – and yet the thing still fits my 4S!

The only downside is that 4 and 4S Gelaskins tend to shrink, as the stickers can’t properly adhere to the smooth glass backs of these iPhones. Mine still fits, but it’s noticeably smaller than before (and Gelaskin doesn’t really warn you about this). Fortunately, this likely won’t be an issue with the iPhone 5, though, so check out Gelaskins.com if you’re looking for some lightweight scratch protection and a bit of added grip.
