iA Writer for iPhone and iPad Now Converts and Previews Markdown

iA Writer was updated alongside iOS 6, but in all of the awesome new updates, I simply forgot to write about it. Let’s correct that now.

Writer has long been my go-to app for drafts on my iPhone and iPad, but until recently, I’ve needed to use Byword to help me preview the Markdown I generate, simply to make sure everything is valid. But now that Markdown can be previewed and even converted to HTML from inside of the app, iA Writer has become the only writing software that I need on my iPhone and iPad.

I’m also still eagerly awaiting these same features on the Mac – but Apple is apparently taking their sweet time reviewing this latest version. Argh.
