Cool Things: Evernote And Moleskine Team Up To Create Smarter Notebook

Evernote was recently updated with an interesting new Page Camera feature, which essentially turns the app into a mini scanner. There are already many other apps that feature this functionality, but Evernote stands out here because of the direct integration with your online Evernote account. There is no need to import pages you’ve shot with the Page Camera feature — they’ll just sync with your account automatically. This feature should play very nicely with Evernote’s ability to recognize handwriting for text searches.

But this post isn’t only about the Page Camera feature. Evernote has partnered up with Moleskine to make a set of limited edition notebooks with special lines and grids that compliment Evernote’s latest headline feature. The notebooks will help Evernote’s software adjust any skewing in page pictures, and special stickers will help you auto-tag notes by just adding them to the pages — neat!
