Apple Sends Out Invitations for October 23rd Media Event

Several media outlets are reporting that Apple has sent out invitations for a media event slated for Tuesday, October 23rd. The event will be held in San Jose, California at the California Theatre at 10:00AM Pacific. The Invitations’s tagline is “We’ve got a little more to show you.”

It is widely believed that Apple will be rolling out a new, smaller, 7.85-inch “iPad mini” at this event. The event is also expected to cover such things as iBooks, the introduction of the a 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro, and possibly iMac and Mac mini updates as well. There is also talk of Apple giving the iPad a small update, namely brining the company’s new Lightning connector to the device.
