It was revealed in Walter Isaacson’s biography that the late Steve Jobs had been working on designing a yacht for his family since 2009. Sadly the ship was not completed before Jobs passed last year. Nonetheless the project has been completed and the ship was christened “Venus” with Jobs’ widow Laurene Powell Jobs and their three children present for the event.
Details are scarce (as they probably should be), but as reported by One More Thing the ship is somewhere in the neighborhood of 70-80 meters in length, features an aluminum hull, and as seen in one photo, sports seven 27-inch iMacs in the wheelhouse to run the ships controls.
This is one slick looking boat. But really, did we think Jobs would have settled for anything less?
