Evernote 5 for Mac Looks Incredible!

Evernote 5 for Mac coming, and it’s looking really, really good based on the video below:

The whole app looks cleaner, and note thumbnails are framed better, so different types of images should appear less disparate. The release timeline is set to “soon”, but the beta is set to come out some time this week, so keep an eye out on the Evernote blog and Evernote Twitter account for more information.

I don’t use Evernote for day-to-day note taking, but it has consistently served as my long-term storage for notes. I think the iPhone app is fantastic, and with this upcoming refresh for the Mac, I’m hopeful once again for an interesting refresh of the Evernote iPad UI (which is really far too scattered for my tastes).
