CNET is reporting that an Apple spokesperson has stated that iTunes 11 will ship by the end of November. Apple originally planned for iTunes 11 to ship sometime in October, but obviously had to push back the release for one reason or another.
In the statement released by Apple, the company is wanting to take time with iTunes 11 and ship it when it’s done. This just so happens to be one of the subjects that has bubbled to the surface since yesterday’s management shakeup at Apple. That is, Forstall seemingly pushed for products to ship by certain dates, while others in the company had a ship-it-when-it’s-done approach.
So, with the shakeup underway, it seems that Apple has bunted, and iTunes 11 will be available sometime next month. You know, when it’s done.
