Multiple accounts, sending e-mails from different addresses, and a cleaner design – these are just a few of the reasons to pick up Gmail 2.0 for iPhone and iPad. They’re also featured I’ve been wanting to see for a very long time. The ability to send from multiple From: addresses, in particular, should allow me to use Gmail as my full-time e-mail client, provided that all of my email is forwarded to m main account. A full review iSource review is forthcoming, but my immediate impression for now is “Wow”.
Google software has been looking a lot more polished as of late, and between Gmail 2.0 and the recently updated Google Search app, I’m suddenly a lot more interested in trying out an affordable, high-powered Android phone (like the Nexus 4).
