They screw onto the bottom of your iPhone 4/S or iPhone 5 and act like the new strap on the 5th-gen iPod Touch, providing “drop protection” by nullifying the chances of a drop. The only kicker is the $35 price tag, which seems like a lot for just a wrist strap and a few tools for installation.
