Mujjo Sleeve for iPad mini Review

The Mujjo Sleeve for iPad mini is made out of wool and leather and a generous helping of European flair. It’s a gorgeous, high-class little container for an 8″ tablet. The main compartment fits the iPad mini. There is also room for a Smart Cover, though the wool felt tends to grip the polyurethane cover just a little too much for my liking – so this sleeve really is best for storing a “naked” iPad mini. Just outside of the main compartment is a smaller pocket that’s big enough for an iPhone, sync cable, and a pair of earphones. All of this closes up with a gorgeous leather flap that stays shut nicely in a bag.

Most of my bags already feature dedicated pockets for my iPad mini, but I tend to use the Mujjo sleeve when I bring my large backpack along, just so I can make sure the iPad has a bit of padding around it during transport. The horizontal orientation means that it’s always easy to insert or remove my tablet, and the high-quality materials help to elevate the already classy looking iPad mini.

If you carry a bag without a dedicated tablet compartment and prefer to use your iPad mini without a case, then Mujjo’s $60 sleeve could be the perfect little solution for you. It’s classy, lightweight, and makes a statement by staying away from the standard ballistic nylon construction. Oh, and if you like the style but don’t need a sleeve for you tablet, keep in mind that Mujjo also sells sleeves for other devices
