The evad3rs already claim to have a working unteatherd Jailbreak for iOS 6.x–this much we know. As of last night, we now have a little more information about the official evasi0n.com website link posted by pod2g. Further investigation reveals there are a few tasty tidbits of facts already made public on the site.
It appears that they are 68% complete with the process of testing and preparing compatible operating systems (Mac OS, Linux & Windows) for the Jailbreak.
Evasi0n will be compatible with all iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and iPad mini models currently running iOS 6.0 and higher. It does not appear that you will_have_to upgrade to iOS 6.1 to use the evasi0n Jailbrak tool.
Other than having your current device upgraded to at least iOS 6.x, it looks as though you will only need a USB cable to connect your device to your computer, and be running the following mininum OS’s– Mac OS X 10.5, Linux x86 / x86_64 or Windows XP. Oh, and 5 minutes of your time!

As you’ll see on the evasi0n.com splash page, each device that shows a visible calendar icon is displaying a ’3′. It just so happens that the first Sunday in February is on the 3rd. Coincidence? Probably not.
It won’t be long now! Check back for more updates as they are made known.
