No doubt about that. As Rene Ritche likes to point out all the time, iOS is now the oldest modern mobile OS. Definitely time for a refresh.

My hope is that they do a cosmetic overhaul with some ease-of-use additions and tweaks in iOS 7, and then a serious overhaul of Springboard next year.

True…suppose my Android background just had me thinking of how Google’s OS slowly transitioned from a less flat design to it’s current Holo theme, which goes for a sleek modern look. I think iOS is well overdue for a design update. At least let me change the default color theme (a Graphite option) like I can do in OS X!

That’s where the initial rumors of what Ive might do with iOS came from. Now, they just seem to be getting more solid as time goes by and more leaks occur.
