Twitter for iOS has received an update today that introduces a few new features and tweaks, including new location-based trends. Version 5.6 allows users the ability to choose between tailored trends or trends based on locales far and wide, from your hometown to the other side of the globe.
Also included as part of the update is improved playback of Vine videos (that particular Twitter-owned app saw an update of its own yesterday), new handling of replies to retweets, and bug fixes to provide a smoother overall app experience.
