If you are the owner of an iPhone 5, you can expect to see the arrival of a new software version soon. Today, Apple began pushing iOS 6.1.4 to their latest smartphone kit, and the update is a minor one, to say the least.
Listed in its changelog is one item and one item only: “Updated audio profile for speakerphone.” We’ll have to do some real-world testing to see what that entails, exactly.
Otherwise, we might assume that Apple has addressed some other minor under-the-hood issues not worth discussing in a changelog, but there you have it. If you are the owner of an older iPhone model, this particular update might very well only be applicable to the 5, but we’ll keep you posted.
