
Apple is well known as being one of the world’s richest companies, but this year marks the first time the iPhone and iPad maker has cracked the top 10 of the annual Fortune 500. Apple made it to number 6 on the list, which ranks the top businesses in the US, a move of 11 spots from their position as number 17 last year. Here is this year’s top 10:
- Wal-Mart Stores
- Exxon Mobil
- Chevron
- Phillips 66
- Berkshire Hathaway
- Apple
- General Motors
- General Electric
- Vallero Energy
- Ford Motor
Other tech giants to make the list include Google at number 55, Microsoft at 35, and Amazon at 49, while Facebook made the list for the first time at number 482. You can check out the entire ranking to see where everyone else falls.
