Lets examine Google Now for iOS, which is a complete embarrassment, crippled by the indisputable fact that you must first download and launch the Google Search app just to access Google Now features, no Swipe up from the bottom to launch, no Hot word “Google!” launch capabilities, no instant push weather, no instant push alert on when its time to leave for work, or to make a meeting on time, no ability to instantly notify any participants that you’ll be late for a meeting, no push notifications on package tracking, flight information etc…etc… I guess what the OP is really trying to convey here, is that because things don’t bounce around on a skeuomorphic design, that it lacks polish and refinement. SMH. I would venture to guess that somebody here even believes the YouTube Capture app for iOS is superior, because it comes in its own app!!! Something additional you have to open up just to record and share a video….’cuz the ease of recording the video thru your native camera app, then tapping Share > YouTube, well, it just ain’t fancy enough! If it don’t bounce and shine, or fold like a page, it must be an Android feature/app….womp wompppp.
