After doing so for the 32GB and 64GB models last fall, Apple has finally updated their 16GB iPod Touch to a fifth-generation design featuring a 4-inch Retina display. The latest edition to the lineup replaces the fourth generation 16GB version as the lowest-priced option for those seeking the iPod Touch.
The new iPod features a dual-core A5 processor, front-facing Facetime HD camera, and the 6.1 mm-thick body design already deployed by the current crop of fifth-generation models. What it does not feature, however, is a rear camera.
The new 16GB iPod Touch is on sale now for $229 and shipping within 24 hours.
