While our attention is turned to WWDC and the various Apple software updates that could be previewed at the show, Mac OS X Mountain Lion has received an update to version 10.8.4. The latest version of Apple’s desktop operating system includes improvements to WiFi, tweaks to FaceTime calling, and an update to Safari 6.0.5.
While the update is the biggest to OS X since Apple dropped 10.8.3 in March, it mostly focuses on addressing smaller bugs, such as a calendar glitch that displayed birthdays incorrectly in certain time zones and an iMessage error that showed messages out of order. OS X 10.8.4 also includes improved Microsoft Exchange support.
You can find the full changelog over at Apple’s support site. If you are running the latest version of Mountain Lion you should be prompted to update via the App Store.
