
Apple’s MacBook Air lineup just got a whole lot more powerful with the introduction of Intel’s Haswell platform. During the WWDC 2013 keynote, the company showed off a refreshed line of hardware that includes a new 11-inch and 13-inch model.
The big focus with the MacBook Aire update is battery life, which promises to last all day thanks to the energy efficiency of the new Intel Haswell chips. The 11-inch MacBook Air promises 9 hours of battery life, while the 13-inch boasts a 12-hour life. The notebooks get 802.11ac WiFi (to go with new 802.11ac AirPort base stations),

The new models will be available later today starting at $999 for the MacBook Air 11-inch with 128GB of storage.
