1. They’ve made specific partnerships for Siri integrations, much the same as with the Apple TV. MS probably bid on this, or made some kind of offer for the position.

2. It’s another way to limit Google’s revenue stream from iOS users. As popular as Google’s App Store apps are, there are many novice users who will rarely install 3rd party apps. The only default access Google still has in iOS is web search in Safari. This will put a dent in Google’s iOS revenus over time.

I suppose that’s posible, I’ll have to look more closely. I know when they showed off the hands free in-car possibilities prior to the iPhone 5 coming out, it was later discovered they were using an iPhone 5 in the picture.

If it was a white iPhone 5, then they extended the screen close to the edges, because you can still see the buttons on the side of the device (though they look different), and there is no camera or home button. Either way, I’m surprised I haven’t read anything about these images anywhere… you would think someone would wonder if it is forecasting a future device…

I see what you mean–but all the demoes were on a white iPhone 5. Perhaps the pic is cropped a little to show mostly the screen?
