Apple really doesn’t need to convince anyone to use their phone. This is probably why businesses have seen an uptick in iPhones as enterprise devices in recent years. With more and more companies adopting policies that allow employees to use their personal phone as their work phone, it’s no surprise. So IT departments everywhere should be happy to see Apple focusing on even more business-oriented enhancements in iOS 7.

A new page has launched at Apple’s site highlighting what users and businesses alike can expect when iOS 7 launches to the general public in the fall. This includes per app VPN, App Store licensing, an updated Mail app, and more. As with most Apple updates, ease of use is key. These are new features designed to take the headache out of interfacing with an enterprise network.

It’s no longer the age of the BlackBerry, and many businesses are hesitant about the security of Android devices. Apple is capitalizing on this to become the enterprise device of the present and future.
