Hmm, sounds like a reasonable wish. I’m pretty sure someone will take that on considering the response the color palette has been getting. I’m not a fan either. Like you, I am pleased with many of the enhancements we’ve seen in iOS 7, but definitely not the color, and not a fan of some of the icons either.

Perhaps–not a bad idea, really. The 1976 logo was designed by the “other” co-founder of Apple no one knows much about. Looks like a beer label if you ask me 🙂

To reinforce the “designed in CA” concept? I never knew about the 1976 one: it looks appropriately sinister.
