While July is a bit early for most to start thinking about the impending school year, Apple has launched their annual Back to School promotion today. Offering the promise of a free iTunes gift card on top of educational discounts, college students, teachers and staff members are all entitled to the freebies.
The breakdown is pretty simple. Buying any Mac earns a $100 gift card. An iPhone or iPad nets a $50 gift card. The offer currently extends to those in the US and UK, but should roll out to other regions as the fall months approach. The promotion is available both online and in store, and ends September 6th.
