Spotify for iOS has received a nice little update today, freshening up the look of the app while adding a few features that users should appreciate. The first thing you might notice is a new logo accompanied by a refreshed Now Playing view with an “Up Next” queue. But it’s the Discover tab that offers the biggest addition to the app.
Discover offers recommended songs, artists, and playlists based on the other music you have listened to. The feature is apparently rolling out over an extended period and won’t be available to all users up front.
Spotify also gets its fair share of improvements and fixes, polishing up the app experience further. The latest version of the app is available as a free download. To gain access to all features you will need to be a Spotify subscriber.
