Apple is pushing the third iteration of their iOS 7 beta to developers with the new platform build installed installed on their iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. Users can pull iOS 7 beta 3 to their devices via the software update option in the Settings app, or, alternatively, download the install files from the iOS Dev Center.
We’ll get to work digging through the new build to see exactly what’s changed, but for now expect bug fixes and performance enhancements to be the focus of this release. iOS 7 beta 2 seemed to take care of most of the glaring shortcomings of the latest build of Apple’s mobile OS, so Apple has likely moved on to the polishing stages.
Still, we shouldn’t discount the possibility of a few surprises. As we await an official changelog, let us know if you come across anything new in the update. You can find instructions for installing iOS 7 in this helpful article.
