After the death of a Chinese women reportedly electrocuted by her iPhone made headlines, Apple is offering guidance on the best way to avoid the same fate. While we’re all still seeking clarity in the case, it would seem that a suspect, unofficial charger may have been at fault. Hence Apple prominently linking to an information page detailing official charging accessories.

Apple issued a statement after the incident expressing sympathy and vowing to get to the bottom of exactly what happened. A phone that has a tendency to murder its users, after all, is no bueno.
