Apple never left Foxconn. They still do business with them as well. But you’re right, cheap labor = cheaper products, simple math.

I said it then and I say it now, them moving will make no difference. Apple will just go to another Chinese manufacturer that will abuse its workers. The problem is not with Apple, it’s all about the system.

Do you guys really want Apple to stop abusing workers across the world? Vote with your wallet and don’t buy Apple products. If enough people do it maybe they will manufacture products in the US. And if that happens in some alternate universe, be ready to pay more than double or triple the price for your devices.

It’s that simple. Another solution is to make China change its ways. Let’s see how that works.
