iOS users are getting one more option for strewing video today as Barnes & Noble has launched their Nook Video app for iPhone and iPad. The app does what you might expect, giving users the ability to rent and purchase movies for their streaming pleasure. Owned UltraViolet content can be viewed in the app as well.
iOS isn’t the only platform getting access to the app today, as B&N has opened the service up to Android and Roku as well. This follows the company’s unceremonious exit from the tablet market. Nook Video was once exclusive to the retailer’s line of Nook devices, though there are no plans to produce further hardware.
