
It was only a matter of time before Google began rolling features of one of its latest purchases into their existing products (and in this case, vice versa). In a post on the Google Lat Long blog, the company has announced the addition of Waze traffic incident reports to Google Maps.
This means Waze user reports for accidents, construction, road closures, and other traffic incidents will now appear in Google Maps. In turn, Waze is getting Google Search as well as Street View and satellite imagery.
The feature is not unlike traffic incident reports in Apple Maps, which can also be easily accessed. Check out our how-to for full instructions.
